Sinharaja Rain Forest....
Sinharaja rain forest reserve is a National Park in sri lanka. It is of international significance and world heritage site by UNESCO .It's located in Sabaragamuwa and Southern provinces .sinharaja is the country's last viable area of primary topical rainforest. The Rain forest spanning an area of 18900 acres or 7648 hectares. More than 60% of the trees .The hilly virgin rainforest ,part of the sri lanka. The reserve's name translates as lion kingdom .there are treasure trees,insects,amphibians,reptiles,birds and mammals .it is not as easily seen as at dry zone national park such as Yala. In December 1988, the Sinharaja rain forest became sri lanka's First Natural site to be added to UNESCO world heritage list.
