              Kandy Esala Perahera. On a night illuminated by the full moon, the distant sound of whips and the beating of drums creates the overture for an evening of magic soon , a fairy tale parade of fire, dancers,  musicians  and elephants adorned with rich drapes of gold  and silver trimmings, create a vision of celestial beauty for hundreds of years. This spectacular  pageant of faith and tradition is believed to bring blessing and good fortune to this precious little isle. An isle that's also home to festivals of art, music and the biggest literary event in Asia.

                            Trincomalee Known as Trinco to locals, it has one of the world's best natural harbours. Following settlement by the Portuguese and the Dutch, the British colonized Ceylon. British forces took residency in 1940s at Orrs Hill a high ground with a spectacular view of the harbour. Present day welcombe Hotel was their Head office. Trinco has a historical Fort. The Swami rock with a straight drop of 130 metres is known locally as the 'Lovers Leap' due to historic legend that a Dutch official's daughter threw herself down after watching her fiance desert her by sea. At the peak of this rock stands the holy site of Koneswaram Temple.

            Environmental  pollution  Environment  is the surrounding  where we live pollution refers for all the ways by which people dirty the environment . People pollute the environment in various ways. They pollute the air with gases and smoke . Poison these water with chemicals and other sunstances.                  people pollute the environment in various other ways. They destroy the natural beauty by rubbish and litter . The motor vehicles and machines sent out poison smoke on to the air. Enviroment pollution is one of the seric problems that we face today.. polluted air can cause illnesses. It can kill living beings. Polluted water can cause many diseases and kill fish and other life. The problem of pollution is a highly complicated one.

            Martin Wikramasinghe Martin Wikramasinghe the greatest sri lankan writer of the last century was born in Koggala in 1890. The house in which he was born has been renovated and forms a part of the museum. Martin Wikramasinghe's life and times are presented through photographs ,paintings,sketches and awards he had recieved a simple life style .he was related to Buddhism.

Their is a adorable house in the middle of village It's like a ghosts house after long time no one lived in this house The grasses growing near the house, and their is a big Ant hill behind the house blinking nature around the house, A crow on the top of the house screaminy very loudly A few minutes ago few bats came inside the house and flying very fastly they told me something 'Quickly go out this adorable house'.

The bigger ones were standing  as sentinels keeping guard A flock of peacocks dancing rhythmically Moving round ,wiggling and fluttering Their bright feathers It was spectacular.

It is located in close proximity to Mumbai. The busiest city in the state of Maharashtra . It is 2,625 feet above sea level and declared an eco- sensitive region by the Indian government. There are several lookout points in Matheran .such as the panorama point which gives a 360 views the surrounding area.

This great achievement of hers makes sri lanka one of the few countries in the world. In which   woman has been the first person to reach the highest mountain peak on earth. The world's highest summit had always been one of her childhood dreams. 

                   A city girl on the farm          Lizzy crane was an poor girl.lived in a small village with his parents. Unfortunately when Lizzy was eight years old. Both her parents passed away. So Lizzy was sent to live with uncle and aunt in the country. They owned a farm with a lot of animals. As Lizzy had always lived in the city, she ws not used to animals. She did not like to go near them.           One day  Lizzy's uncle and aunt had to visit a sick neighbour. She was left alone in the house .it was a very warm day.
