Lahugala National Park

  There in the tank,
A herd of wild elephants playfully
Splashing water, 
Gripping their trunks and nuzzling 
each other.
The bigger ones were standing 
as sentinels keeping guard

 A flock of peacocks dancing rhythmically
Moving round ,wiggling and fluttering
Their bright feathers
It was spectacular.
