Martin Wikramasinghe the greatest sri lankan writer of the last century was born in Koggala in 1890. The house in which he was born has been renovated and forms a part of the museum.
Martin Wikramasinghe's life and times are presented through photographs ,paintings,sketches and awards he had recieved a simple life style .he was related to Buddhism.
